and learn flavorful techniques to keep our winter meals interesting.
This lively online class will expand beyond tasty recipes to include the
historical background along with handy knife skills to prep carrots,
beets, potatoes, celeriac, rutabagas, parnsips and Jerusalem artichoke.
The instructor for this demonstration is Flip Filippi, Local Food
Program Leader and co-owner of the community farm littleGrasse
Foodworks. The class will be filmed live from the Harvest Kitchen at the
Extension Learning Farm and is part of the Celebrating Local Food Kitchen Series.
