The Fall 2020 semester is unique, to say the least. In addition to the “normal” challenges and stressors experienced by college students, the realities of the COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting economic downtown, and the upsurge in racial violence in the U.S. are impacting our students as well.
Catherine Thrasher-Carroll, Mental Health Program Director, Skorton Center for Health Initiatives, and Katherine Goldberg, CAPS Counselor and Community, Consultation and Intervention Specialist, Cornell Health, highlight traditional and new signs of distress and corresponding response options available to faculty.
The program is sponsored by the Office of Faculty Development and Diversity.
