Neurodiversity Dialogues: K-12 Diagnosis and Supports

Facilitated by: 

• Sierra Hicks (They/Them) is an AuDHDer and PhD Student in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at Cornell. Sierra has been a Neurodiversity Ambassador for the past couple of years and is passionate about celebrating, analyzing, serving overlapping identities and experiences. 

Guest speakers: 

• Jaeah Chung, MD, Cornell Alumna. Dr. Chung is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. Dr. Chung specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children with developmental delays and disabilities. She works closely with families to identify a child’s behavioral and educational needs and assists in obtaining the optimal interventions.
• Lauren Hough Williams (she/her), Executive Director, Program for Inclusion and Neurodiversity Education (PINE) at NYU. Lauren Hough Williams is an experienced educator and program developer in the social impact space committed to equity, inclusion, and community. She has a proven track record of designing and building equity and inclusion-focused ecosystems in the K-12, higher-education, museum, and employment spaces,
