In this class we give an overview of the course and its expectations. While it will be recorded, everyone should strive to attend.

Please see the announcement post for what you need to do in preparation for the lab this week. We are getting started right away, and you should immediately watch both Lesson 0 and videos 1.1-1.4 of Lesson 1 (as soon as they are available). However, it is possible to complete the labs without watching all these videos.
 
You will notice that the included video is quite long. That is because we recorded the question-and-answer session that continued long after the class. In general, these classes will begin and end on time.
