Session 8: Urban agriculture initiatives like community gardens, refugee farming, non-profit garden programs, and commercial small-scale farming have proven to be an invaluable tool for increasing access to culturally appropriate fresh food that promotes health and well-being. As we reflect on the messages of the Black Lives Matter movement, this panel will facilitate honest, thoughtful dialogue around the role of diversity and inclusion within the extension system.
