Khatia Martinez is a senior in the College of Human Ecology majoring in
Global and Public Health Sciences with a minor in Development Sociology. She is passionate
about maternal and child health, health education and community engagement programs
addressing the social determinants of health. Along with her group members, Khatia is
currently developing a Theory of Change model regarding the prevalence of mental health

Ellen Park is a senior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
majoring in Environment and Sustainability with minors in Development Sociology, Health
Equity, Climate Change, Global Health, and Business. She is extremely passionate in
addressing physical and mental health inequities worldwide. Ellen is interested in pursuing a
career in public health, specifically focusing on environmental health. Along with her group
members, Ellen is currently developing a Theory of Change model to reduce the prevalence of

Pearlanna Zapotocky is a senior in the College of Human Ecology majoring
in Global and Public Health Sciences with minors in Inequality Studies and Health Policy. She
is interested in maternal and child health as well as nutrition and physical activity. Pearlanna
plans to pursue a career in public health, specifically focused on reducing health disparities in
the United States. Along with her group members, Pearlanna is currently developing a Theory
