In this session, we will talk about reasonable accommodation at work. We will provide an overview of reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (the legal requirements) and also explore ways that some companies are applying accommodations more broadly in an effort to ensure they are disability inclusive. We will reserve plenty of time for questions and answers, with the caveat that under the ADA the answer to a lot of questions is “it depends”. Each request for accommodation will depend on the person, their job duties and the environment in which they work.
