Jules Nshimiye is a senior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences majoring in Global
and Public Health Sciences with minors in Education and Health Equity. He is passionate about
the intersection between public health and medicine and hopes to create a health NGO where
medicine and public health complement each other. Through the Global Health Summer
Program in Karnataka, India, Jules worked with the Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement to
add life to years and not just years to the lives of the elderly by gaining a well-rounded
understanding of the population in Mysuru and Saraguru. Contact Jules at mn477@cornell.edu.
