Mara Kebret is a senior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences majoring in Nutritional Sciences and Biology and Society with minors in Global Health and Environmental and Sustainability Sciences. She is passionate about rectifying health disparities among historically disenfranchised demographics and has a particular interest in studying reproductive cancer incidence among Women of Color. Mara has outlined some tips and tricks to make a remote ELO as engaging and fulfilling as possible, and is eager to share what she learned as a remote research assistant for the Society for Implementation Science and Nutrition (SISN). Her work

involved researching the implementation of maternal and fetal nutritional interventions in Kenya and Uganda, while developing project materials for the organization. Contact Mara at
