After half a century at Cornell, Henry Crans retires June 30, 2019. He spent four decades of that time at the College of Arts and Sciences, retiring as director of facilities. He oversaw many major building projects for the college, including Klarman Hall and the Physical Sciences Building, as well as numerous building renovations, and was responsible for rescuing the 800-pound mosaic and many of the plaster casts now on display in Klarman and Goldwin Smith Halls.
