First Q&A Session (length: 4:50) from Building Community in Online Spaces:
In this workshop, we will identify, brainstorm, and discuss strategies for building communities in online spaces. We will explore techniques and tools that can be implemented to set the stage for and maintain an engaged learning community over the course of the semester. Drawing on workshop participant experiences, we will discuss ways to sustain instructor presence and create avenues for communication, as well as tools that can help.
