The last 15 years have produced “near magical” developments in how we employ
space assets and on our dependencies on these capabilities now integral to the
fabric of our daily lives. The prior 40 years were filled with required stepping stones
of achievements, but predicting the last 15 years I suggest was still a stretch. This
talk will offer personal perspectives on threads between these achievements; and
with reference to evolutionary development cycles – the stunning pace of where
and by whom these advancements take place projects to full “magic” ahead. And
will be needed for challenges of next 15 years.
