On May 9, 1995, the month before Frank H.T. Rhodes retired from the Cornell presidency following 18 years of service, a Cornell community of thousands – faculty, staff and students – turned out to honor the president and his wife, Rosa. The university-wide tribute included a parade, a horse-drawn wagon ride from Day Hall to Barton Hall, and a grand reception where more than 200 student groups, athletic teams, university departments and units, and Cornell schools and colleges feted Frank and Rosa Rhodes. Recorded by the Educational Television Center, Media Services, Cornell University.
