8-bit or 12-bit RGB for phenotyping?

Abstract:

This talk will show the different types of sensors that are used within high throughput phenotyping systems. We will show the different types of sensors that are used in phenotyping systems and we will so the benefit of each one. One of the sensors will be a PSII camera system (photosynthesis camera) we will go more into depth what this camera has for advantages in comparison to more traditional sensors like the RGB camera. Next to having nice imaging sensors software will also play a big role in having a successful high throughput phenotyping system. We will show different ways of approaching the analysis from manual to fully automatic.

Bio:

Vincent Jalink is a technical sales manager and 3D designer at PhenoVation. Since 2013 he has been active in the phenotyping market and is advising companies and universities that want to purchase phenotyping equipment.
