Writing an effective business plan for a new or existing business can be a daunting task for an inexperienced person. Many aspects of the business need to be considered and accounted for when putting a business plan together. Luckily, there are many resources available to make the process easier.
Among those resources is a free workshop hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego
County (CCE Oswego). Guest speaker Gabriel Gurley, Farm Business Management Specialist at NY FarmNet, discusses the importance and writing process of business plans for agricultural businesses as well as the sections and financial documents contained within a business plan. This free online workshop was held in a mixed format via Zoom with in-person seating at CCE Oswego's office and took place on
Thursday, April 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 3;15 p.m. It was open to all
members of the general public.
