Military veterans are a rich talent pool for employers. However, there is a lot of misinformation about the value that veterans bring to the workplace. This session will consist of a short presentation followed by a panel discussion with Cornell employees who are veterans. We’ll discuss the stigmas that veterans face when it comes to employment, the many benefits of hiring veterans, as well as best practices for creating a Veteran-friendly and supportive workplace.
