Every development project requiring municipal approval in New York must undergo a thorough review of potential environmental impacts in order to comply with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). Many times engineers are involved in this process, either representing the development or providing assistance for the municipal review. This class covers many of the developmental elements that must be evaluated as part of an environmental assessment, as well as provides an overview of the different levels of the required SEQRA documentation from Short Form to Long Form to Environmental Impact Statement.
